Abstract
A brief study of the previous published work on the characteristics of epoxy resin insulators under atmospheric pollutIon conditions 15 presented test methods used according to the universal specifications are also reported stlxy of the pollution severity in three zones comprising three different atmospheric pollution conditions is carried out the work includes investigatIon of the pollution distribution on epoxy resin insulator surfaces as compared with porcelain insulators through experimental stymies the coefficient performance and characteristics of epoxy resin insulators have been proved for outdoor use in the high voltage networks for three years under severe pollution conditions.
