Abstract The object of this work is to investigate the K-shell vacancy production probabilities in near symmetric heavy ion-atom collisions. The system used in this study is Krypton ions as a projectiles and Molybdenum as a solid target. Using acceleration-stripping-deceleration system, the Krypton ions have been striped to Hdrogen-like krypton ions and lithium-like Krypton ions at 5.5 MeV u¯¹, in Gesellschaft Für Schwer lonenforsching (GSI), Darmstadt, West Germany. The preparation, and experiment build-up have been done in Max Plank Institute, MPI, Für Kernphysick, Heidelberg, W. Germany. |
