Abstract Aim of the work The aim of this work is to assess the prevalence of different rheumatic manifestations among diabetic patients and to study the relation between each rheumatic manifestations and some parameters Of D.M including ages, age at onset, duration of D.M, blood glucose level, glycosylated haemoglobin %, and complications of D.M (retinopathy, neuropathy and nephropathy). Conclusion The present study suggests the high prevalence of some rheumatic diseases with diabetes mellitus, and significant association between these rheumatic diseases and some parameters of D.M. So, the examination and follow up the muscuskeletal system is of particular importance to detect these disease, where diabetic patients being at risk for the development of rheumatic disease. |
