Abstract
This investigation has been carried out to study the effect of between and within row spacings and their interactions and the effect of two growth regulatirs on growth , yield and bulb quality of Gaze 6 onion .
Three fueld experiments were carried out at the faculty of agriculture farm, El-Minia University .
In this first experiment the effect of g plant densities of 23.8 – 381 plants / m , resulted from treet-ment combinations of four inter-row (7.5,15,22.5and 30cm) and four intra – row (3.5, 7, 10.5 and 14 cm ) spacings , were studied . The response of onion plants grown from seedling and sets , to ethephon and IAA was determined in the second and the third experiment , res-pectively
