Abstract

The following is a summary of the results obtained:the average sechi depth visibility was fluctuated between 0cm and 35cm,from 45cm to 80cm ,from 20cm to 85cm cirrigation canals .gernerally, stations of polluted drain showed always the lowest transporency levels, mainly due to the increased turbidity of the contaminated water. the general climate of the study area is that of the moderate tropical zones .mean monthly values of water temperature tropical zones .mean monthly values of water temperature ranged between15Cin the nile and from 15Cin polluted drain; from 16Cto 30Cin the nile and from 15Cto 30Cin the water of irrigation canals .generally ,no wide variations were observed in temperature maxima and minima between all stations ,except at stationi.
