Abstract
Aim of the work
To discuss the anatomy, biomechanics and different causes of patelloformal disorders so that an appropriate management will be applied. It will strict on the arthroscopic management.
Conclusion
Finally we concluded that patellofemoral disorders could be devastating for many patients, both young and old, athlete and non-athlete. There are numerous causes for this pain. The appropriate treatment will depend on identifying the source of pain, understanding each specific disorder, and identifying the pattern of articular degeneration. Most patients with patellofemoral pain can be treated non-operatively, and only in patients with persistent pain that is unresponsive to non-operative measures should surgical intervention be considered.
