Abstract Obesity now is becoming a worldwide epidemic. Statistical data showed increased incidence in different age groups, cultures and ethnicity. · Bariatric surgery had been shown in the majority of the morbidly obese patients to be effective in providing substantial and sustained long term weight loss with minimum complications. · Following bariatric surgery, there will be loss of body weight,and the skin and subcutaneous fat begins to sag in various regions of the body forming skin folds which forms functional,dermatological, and aesthetic compromise. · Body contouring surgeries present the only available treatment for these deformities and can be done in multiple stages for maximal patient safety and to limit complications. · This study included thirty postbariatric massive weight loss patients. |
