Abstract
The late blight is undoubtedly the most important disease of potatos and tomatos world wide. It is destructive where ever crops are grown without fungicides, except in hot, dry areas. Late blight also is the most promintent pest of solanaceous crops world-wide, the late blight phytophora infestans and its world-wied.
