Abstract This work aimed to application of a separation technique (Extraction chromatography) takes the advantages of both liquid-liquid extraction and solid ion-exchange techniques. The concept of solvent impregnated foam is based on incorporation of chelating reagent by physical impregnation through direct adsorption into the cross linked macroporous polymer. Solvent impregnated foam bridge the gap between solvent extraction and ion exchange. |
