Abstract Aim of the work Coducted to the emergency of obnoxious odor and taste in drinking water in Suez governorate which supported by suez freshwater canal during january and february in each year that was associated to acyanobacterial bloom under specific conditions. The main objectives were to explore the changes in phytoplankton community structure in different sites along the Suez freshwater canal during different seasons to detect the presence of algal toxins during the bloom. Study the effect of enviromental conditions on phytoplankton and cyanobacterial species distribution and their toxicity. In vitro studies establish the physiological effect of cyanobacterial toxin on the experimental animal using the ECG recordings on the cardiac muscles Reveal the mechanism of action of cyanotoxins on the cardiac muscles.Study the oxidative strees of the cyanobacterial toxin on the cell line. |
