Abstract This thesis is devoted to the development of new methods for the analysis of some drugs used for the treatment of hepatic diseases in pharmaceutical preparations and biological fluids. The studied drugs are: ribavirin, silybin, interferon.α.2a, lamivudine, ursodeoxycholicacid.and.sorafenib.The.thesis.is.devided.into.five.parts: general introduction about liver disease and classification of the drugs used for their treatment were described in the first part.Asensitive and specific micellar liquid chromatographic method was developed for the simultaneous determination of ribavirin, silybin, interferon α 2a, lamivudine and ursodeoxycholic acid in their dosage forms.A simple stability -indicating micellar liquid chromatographic method method was developed for the determination of silybin in its tablets. The anticancer; sorafenib was analysed by a simple reversed phase HPLC method in its dosage forms and biological fluids.A simple stability-indicating spectrofluorometric method for the determination of silybin in tablets and biological fluids was investigated . The validation criteria of the developed methods were intensively studied. All the results were statistically analyzed and compared with those given by the comparison...methods.The validation criteria of the developed methods were intensively studied.
