Abstract This essay discusses the use of Avastin in management of anterior segment diseases of the eye characterized by neovascularization. It was found to be safe and efficacious in treatement of corneal neovascularization, prevention of recurrent pterygium, management of rubeosis iridis and protection of subscleral trabeculectomy bleb. The study includes details on patient selection, dose and different techniques of administration. |
