Abstract

This study was designed to evaluate the effect of simulated clinical
situations on the surface topography and bending properties of two endodontic
rotary instruments A total of ninety file were used in this study of two different brands the Revo-S file system and AlphaKite file system. Five files of each brands were used
as the control group. Twenty file of each brand were used to prepare three canals of mesial root of mandibular molar using a sodium hypochlorite 5.25% as an irrigant , and then were subjected to one autoclave cycle. Another twenty files were
used to prepare nine canals of mesial root of mandibular molar using sodium
hypochlorite 5.25% as an irrigant and then were subjected to three autoclave cycles i.e. one cycle after preparing three canals. All files were cleaned using ultrasonic
