Abstract

Magnet hospital created an environment that supports nursing practice and focuses on professional autonomy for decision making and nursing involvement in determining the nursing work environment, professional education, career development and nursing leadership. This can only be accomplished with the support and participation of all the departments and employees in the hospital that place patient care first and foremost in the mission of the daily work.
Patient safety is an integral part of the delivery of quality care and improving patient safety is one of the important issues facing health care organizations today. Patient safety is the avoidance, prevention, and protection against adverse outcome or injuries caused by the process of the health care.
Developing a safety culture to assure patient from harm has become one of the central concern in quality improvement in the health care system, it allows the health care providers to safe nursing practice by giving them the autonomy and the ability to make right decisions. While, uncertain and unstable work environment leads to medical errors and un preventable adverse events which is very costly, patient loss trust in.
