Abstract The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of different digital impression techniques (two direct digitizing systems and one indirect digitizing system) on vertical marginal adaptation of a CAD/CAM zirconia coping. The digital impression techniques evaluated were: 1. Direct intraoral camera using CEREC Omnicam. 2. Direct intraoral camera using CEREC Bluecam. 3. Indirect extra oral scanner (conventional impression digitizing) using CEREC InEos X5. Vertical marginal adaptation depending on the location of the measurements (mesial, destal, buccal or palatal) was also evaluated. |
