Abstract Background: In psychiatric nursing field, the therapeutic nurse-patient relationship is one of the building blocks on which nursing practice is built.Regardless of the clinical problem or the treatment modality being used, studies show that a positive therapeutic relationship robustly predict a positive response to treatment. The therapeutic relationship between the patient and the nurse was found to be important for patient satisfaction by values of seeing patients as equal partners in planning, developing and assess healthcare. |
