Field observation revealed that the most common symptoms on naturally infected squash plants in the abis area were mosaic, yellow mosaic, mosaic mottle with or without blister, stunting with reduced leaf blade and shoestring. Detection of viruses involved with such symptoms by indirect ELISA using antisera specific to six viruses revealed the involvement of 3 viruses. |
