Abstract The aim of the present work was to find a relationship between ammonia, amylase, lipid profile, gastrin, leptin, serum iron, serum ferritin, total iron binding capacity (TIBC), transferrin , vitamine B12 and haptoglobulin and infection with helicobacter pylori. In order to achieve this aim 110 subjects Group I: Control healthy individuals consist of 20-persons with ages ranged from 25-more than 65 years. Group II: Consisted from 30-diseased patients with age ranged from 25 to 40 years. Group III: Consisted from 30-diseased patients with age ranged from 40-65 years. Group IV: Consisted from 30-diseased patients with age more than 65 years. Blood samples: Peripheral blood samples of all infected peoples and healthy peoples were collected. The collected samples were transferred to 5ml vacutainer tubes, left to stand about 30minutes in room temperature, then centrifuged (at 3000 r.p.m for 5 minutes) and all available sera were stored at -20°C, vials, until being analysis. Following proper selection of patients and control subjects, the following laboratory tests were performed for all of them: Determination of H.pylori antibodies by One step H.pylori Test Device. Dtermination of serum ammonia. Determination of serum amylase activity. |
