المستخلص The aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of the Web-based co-operative integrated reading composition method in developing EFL reading and writing skills among 1st year prep Experimental language school pupils. The participants included (30) first year prep stage pupils’ at Quesna experimental language school (Quesna), Menoufia governorate. They were assigned to one experimental group. To achieve the aim of the study, the researcher prepared a reading comprehension skills checklist, a writing skills checklist, a reading comprehension test 1 and a writing test 1. The Web based co-operative integrated reading composition method was designed to develop EFL reading comprehension skills and writing skills among first year prep Experimental language school pupils. The method consisted of twelve sessions. The time allocated for each session was 50 minutes. T-test was used for the statistical analysis of data. Results showed that the web-based co-operative integrated reading composition method proved to be effective in enhancing first year prep Experimental language school pupils’ reading and writing skills. Thus, the suggested method is effective in developing EFL reading comprehension skills and writing skills among first year prep experimental language school pupils. |
