Abstract Nursing work effectiveness is an indicator of nurse’s ability to efficiently execute their nursing duties. Work effectiveness affected by multiple factors such as job characteristics, leadership style, compensation justice,and empowerment To achieve effectiveness of performance and assist nurses to improve quality of their practice ways must be found to help them change their practice behavior or performance. The process of change in nurses’ performance and practice need supporting for nurse’s perceived ability to change which in turn increase their readiness for change. The present research aimed to assess oncology nurses’ perceived level of work effectiveness and their readiness for change. The study was conducted at Tanta Cancer Center and included their all (110) staff nurses and all (20) head nurses. |
