Abstract Introduction: Acute Severe Asthma and Electrocardiographic Changes in Acute Severe Asthma. The aim of work: Study the electrocardiographic abnormalities in patients with acute severe asthma. Research Plan: complete medical history , chest and cardiac examination. laboratory assessment , CXR , ECG during attack and after improvement on treatment. Results: there is ECG changes in acute severe asthma include Sinus tachycardia ,tall and peaked P wave , ST depression in inf. and lat. leads , T wave inversion in inf. lat. Leads , poor progression of R waves and RBBB. Conclusion: electrocardiographic changes in acute severe asthma are reversible after treatment. |
