المستخلص - This study belongs to the quality of descriptive studies, where it aims primarily to know the influence of specialized women magazines on the social behavior of Egyptian women intheir families.The researcher conducted an analytical study on a sample of women’s magazines namely: Zahrat Al-Khaleej ”UAE”, Sayidaty ”Saudi” ,Nsf El Dunia ”Egyptian” , and 77 of the three magazines.- The researcher also conducted a field study on a sample of the Egyptian women’s population, which amounted to (400) single in the governorates (Cairo - Dakahlia – Minya).- The researcher used the content analysis form in the analytical study and the questionnaire form in the field study as data collection tools.The study found a number of the most important results of the following:1- Zahra Al Khaleej Magazine ranked first in terms of total editorial arts used in the presentation of subjects related to women by (49%),followed by Sayidaty magazine ranked second (33.7%),(and then in the third and final Nsf El Dunia magazine (17.3%).2-The results showed that the study journals are committed to neutral approach in dealing with the issues related to women in the first place by (47.3%),the three study magazines also targeted women in general, with regard to subjects related to them in the first place with (67.8%).3- The positive picture of women in the three study magazines came at (90.2%) in the first place, while the negative image of women in the three study magazines was (9.7%) in second place.4- Results on the effects of parents resulting from the reading of unmarried women in women’s magazines,” It helps me to help my mother in household matters” ranked first in terms of relative importance (73.68), Among the influences of the brothers and sisters,” it helped me to promote the spirit of cooperation between my brothers” in the first place in terms of relative importance (72.58), Of the influences of the partner of future life, came first” in helping me choose the marital home in proportion to the physical conditions of the life partner” in terms of relative importance (74.12). |
