Abstract Several arthropods can become serious post-harvest pests in contaminated dried fruit. The present work is carried out to throw some light on the following: Survey of mite species associated with two dried fruits (Apricot and Fig) and chestnut fruit during a year from May 2013 to April 2014. •Biological studies on the dried fruit mite, Carpoglyphus lactis (L). •Chemical and physical control of the dried fruit mite, C. lactis. •Determination of total Aflatoxin on two dried fruit samples and chestnut infested by dried fruits mites. |
