Abstract Maintaining oral health during pregnancy has been recongnized as an important public health issue worldwide research continues to show an association between gum diseas (gingivitis and periodontitis and adverse pregnancy outcomes such as low birth weight and premature births. prevention of oral and dental problems and their complications during pregnancy is possible through having pregnant women expressing appropriate knowledge, attitude and practice. The study was conducted in MCH centers at Minia City (frist child health center MCH center and west McH center). This study included 300 pregnant women they belonging to diffrent socioeconomic groups, Attended at MCH centers Seeking antenatal care services.
