Abstract The current study tries to to evaluate and compare immediate and immediate - delayed implants in replacement of hopeless premolars in aggressive periodontitis patients. seven patients were selected suffering from aggressive periodontitis with hopless premolars bilaterally. They were prepared for extraction then sites divided into two groups: group A (immediate implant placement) to which implants were placed at time of extractions and group B (immediate-delayed implant placement) where extractions were done before surgery by six weeks. They were evaluated clinically and radiographically at baseline, 3, 6 and 9 months. There were no significant differences clinically between both groups while radiologically there were significant differences only at 9 months where group B was higher in bone density. |
