Abstract Factors affecting the results of closed reduction and internal fixation in treatment of fracture lateral humeral condyle in children: 1- Age of the patient, it was found that the younger age 2-5, had more satisfactory results than the oldest. 2- Accepted reduction by closed technique need mild hematoma as it makes reduction difficult. 3- Effect of accuracy of the reduction, it is the most important factor which may affect the results, as most of complication can be avoided by accurate reduction and good fixation. 4- Closed reduction and internal fixation is an effective method for management of the recent fracture lateral humeral condyle in children. |
