Recommendations: • Introducing storytelling skills in primary school level is preferable as they help children develop a wide range of skills including: listening comprehension, speaking and critical thinking skills. • Storytelling can reveal children hidden talents whether in writing, performing or graphic designing. So, it is recommended for any stage of learning. • Storytelling can motivate primary school children, and encourage reluctant ones, to listen, speak, read and write more English. So, storytelling activities can be included in EFL syllabuses. • Storytelling is recommended as a supplementary EFL course, especially at the primary stage level. • Multimedia storytelling can be used to enable teachers to increase understanding of new content, and enhance children’s motivation while working collaboratively in classrooms. • Because multimedia storytelling can help teachers and children apply technology both in and out of the classroom, they must be introduced in teaching. • Storytelling training courses can be provided for teachers, especially at the primary stage level, in order to make EFL more authentic and enjoyable. |
