المستخلص Castellated steel beam is one of the most recently used structures in the construction industry, which has become more widespread in recent decades. It has become a fertile material for research in the past period due to the increase in bending hardness as well as the economy in construction, ease of service through the nerve openings and architectural aesthetic appearance, In the previous research, very few theoretical programs have been found to study the behavior of the torsional spindle of the Castellated steel beam with hexagonal and octagonal openings. An analytical study was carried out using the finite element method and the development of FE model for the analysis of the results using FE software package ABAQUS is employed to conduct the parametric study. It was studied for the effect of b C on compact and noncompact Castellated steel beam and using the different variables affecting the behavior of these beams. The results were analyzed and proposed by new equations for this type of the beams. The behavior of the lateral displacement and vertical displacement of the beams with hexagonal and octagonal openings, subjected to the end moment and mid- span concentrated load. Finally, applications for the design of castellated steel beams with hexagona and octagonal openings were presented using the international codes, namel the EC3 and AS 4100 - 1998 and the design equations proposed for the castellated steel beams hexagonal and octagonal openings for short-span.
