Abstract SS-OCTA is a new , non invasive vascular imaging technique. It is a promising tool, which helps understanding the strong relation between ocular microcirculation and glaucoma pathophysiology. br It was noted that severe glaucoma patients had significantly decreased VD measurements when compared to controls . VD in optic nerve head in cases was 61.1±4.6 vd, while that in control -#103;-#114;-#111;-#117;-#112; was 82.2±3.8 (p-lt;0.001). VD in papillary area in cases was 70.3±2.5 vd, while that in control -#103;-#114;-#111;-#117;-#112; was 89.5±2.7 (p-lt;0.001). VD in peri papillary area in cases was 72.1±2.8 vd, while that in control -#103;-#114;-#111;-#117;-#112; was 90.6±2.9 (p-lt;0.001). VD in SRL area in cases was 35.9±1.2 vd, while that in control -#103;-#114;-#111;-#117;-#112; was 41.9±1.8 (p-lt;0.001). VD in DRL area in cases was 37±1.2 vd, while that in control -#103;-#114;-#111;-#117;-#112; was 43.1±0.7 (p-lt;0.001). br By having more results -#102;-#114;-#111;-#109; future studies using OCTA, The ophthalmologists’s ability to monitor the microvasculature changes in glaucoma will be better, as well as, increase their knowledge about the pathophysiology of the disease. |
