Abstract
The present study was designed to evaluate the protective effect<>of melatonin and thymoquinone (as antioxidant) against lithium
chloride induced hematoxicity, hepatoxicity and renal toxicity in
male albino rats. Also, this study was extended to evaluate the
histopathological effect of lithium chloride on the structure of liver,
kidney, spleen and testis using light microscope. Moreover, the
histopathological changes induced by lithium chloride in the brain
and sciatic nerve were examined under light and scanning
transmission microscopes. The antioxidant efficacy of the combined
