Abstract Hamash area is one of the most important areas in the south Eastern Desert of Egypt because of its great economic importance stemmed from presence of copper and gold mineralization. Copper and gold in this area have been exploited from the beginning of pharaonic ages and lasted until now. The present study addresses the characteristics and genesis of the volcanic rocks and the associated granitoids of Wadi Hamash area, Eastern Desert, Egypt. |
