المستخلص This study aims to examine the effect of the Big five factors of personality on job embeddedness at Mansoura university and Delta university. It also purposes to find if there are differences between the opinions of employees of Mansoura and Delta universities for the variables of the study. To achieve these objectives, a questionnaire was designed. The sample size was 333 individuals from Mansoura University and 163 from Delta University. Their responses were collected from the studied community and analyzed statistically using the SPSS 22 program. The research findings show that there is a significant direct effect of the big five factors of personality on job embeddedness. Additionally, the study finds that there is a significant differences between the opinions of employees of Mansoura and Delta universities for some of the big five factors and job embeddedness dimensions. The study presented a set of scientific recommendations to be used to understand the five major factors of the personality as well as increase the level of Job embeddeness among the employees of Mansoura University and Delta. |
