Abstract light of the obtained data, it could be concluded the following points:- The highest daily activity of trapped pollen during spring and summer season was recorded at 10:12 am., While the lowest daily activity of the collected pollen was recorded at 4:6 pm. The highest amounts of pollen grain were observed during May, while the lowest amount was found in August during 2014. The highest amounts of pollen grain were observed during May, while the lowest amount was found in March during 2015. The highest amounts of stored pollen were observed during August, while the lowest amount was found in March during 2014 and 2015. The highest average of stored pollen was in summer then spring. There are sevev major Sources for pollen collection by honeybee (Apis mellifera L.). Moisture content, ash content, fiber content, lipid content, protein content and carbohydrate content were observed. pollen of Solanum lycopersicum recorded the highest percentage of crude protein in summer season and while Zea mays pollen recorded highest percentage of crude protein in spring season. The highest amount of pollen collected was from Nubian melancia while the lowest amount of pollen collection was from Solanum lycopersicum. |
