Abstract Flowering plants offer suitable food for adult natural enemies, an alterna¬tive prey organism (non-prey food), and shelter from ad¬verse conditions, and can increase natural enemies’ longevity, fecundity, and predation, which in turn can enhance the effectiveness of natural enemies as biocontrol agents. So, floral host plant species must be attractive to these natural enemies. The insect predators (Eupeodes corollae (F.), chrysoperla carnea and the coccinellids, Coccinella undecimpunctata L & Hippodamia tredecimpunctata L.) approved to be among the main mortality factors effect on different insect pests. The insect predators, proved to be among the main mortality factors effect on some different insect pests. |
