Abstract This thesis deals with synthesis of novel α-aminophosphonate derivatives bearing antipyrine and rhodanine moieties starting from commercially available aldehydes, amines and diphenyl phosphite. The three one-pot synthesis of novel α-aminophosphonates 4a-e was accomplished in fairly good isolated yields by reaction of aldehydes 1a-e with 4-aminoantipyrine 2 and diphenyl phosphite 3 in the presence of glacial acetic acid as a solvent and catalyst with reflux as shown in (Scheme 1).On the other hand, aldehydes 1a-e, 3-aminorhodanine 5, and diphenyl phosphite 3 in glacial acetic acid as solvent and catalyst confirm the formation of novel α-aminophosphonate derivatives 6a-e with fairly good isolated yields (cf. Scheme 2). |
