Abstract As an introduction of the research, theoretical study shown in part (1) challenges which faces the world today in the form of resource consumption and environmental degradation. As the environment is threatened by the perils of global warming, climate change, and energy crises unless some immediate remedial measures are taken. The numerous problems of energy and its environmental sequences are identified to present nowadays problems and global trends to solve these issues. part (2) of theoretical study shows that every educational building has the potential to generate its own renewable energy. As most Educational buildings have a large roof, so solar PV is normally a good option. There are, however, alternatives, such as wind turbines and geothermal energy. It was illustrated each type of renewable energy that can be used by the educational buildings. Examples have been mentioned to illustrate the various applications of solar power energy, wind energy and geothermal energy used in schools or universities. defines sustainability as it includes ensuring that the ecosystem that supports life and its pattern can be maintained and will remain so and look at how we can change our behavior and patterns of consumption to become more environmentally friendly. Renewable energies contribute to the provision of innovative future solutions the ability to change the physical and mechanical properties of the traditional building design and have significant environmental and economic effects in the medium and long term of the building. from the previous analysis and conclusions, the following can be found: There is a positive relationship between the use of properties acquired by the renewable energies as a complementary technique in the field of energy efficiency in buildings and the adoption of sustainable buildings design |
