Abstract Two field experiments were conduct during the two successive summer seasons of 2015 and 2016 in a private farm at Gemiana village near Belqas City, Dakahlia Governorate, Egypt, to study the effect of irrigation water levels and some foliar spray treatments on growth, plant water relationship, yield and fruit quality of tomato plants ”Fayruz” hybrid under drip irrigation system. This experiment included 27 treatments, consists of the combinations between three irrigation water levels (60 %, 80 and 100 % of ETc) and nine foliar application treatments (spraying with Nano Fe at 1000 and 2000 ppm , Zn at 500 and 1000 ppm , Si at 6 and 12 ppm, yeast extract at 5 and 10 g/l and control treatment). A strip-plot design with three replicates was used. The horizontal plots were allocated to the irrigation water levels, whereas the vertical plots were devoted to foliar spray treatments. |
