Abstract

Rice husk modified with dithiazone (RH@MCM-41@DTZ) prepared from rice husk characterized by high adsorption capacity and low coast when compared to other sorbents. Removal of metal ions as Copper (Cu2+), Zinc (Zn2+), Cadmium (Cd2+) and Lead (Pb2+) occurred with high recovery under optimum conditions of pH 5 for Cu2+ and Zn2+ and pH 6 for Cd2+ and Pb2+, 50 mg of sorbent, sample stirring for 20 min and sample volume 100 mL. The present procedure reflects high accuracy and precision with higher preconcentration factor when compared to other procedures.
The prepared Rice husk modified with alizarin Red.S (RH@MCM-41@ARS) from rice husk exhibit important adsorption properties towards Palladium (Pd2+), Cu2+ and Platinum (Pt2+). It processes high adsorption capacity when compared to other sorbents as well as is low cost. Quantitative extraction of Pd2+ and Pt2+ occurred at pH 4.0 where extraction occurred for Cu2+ at pH 5.0 using 50 mg of the biosorbent and 5ml of 0.5 mol L-1 thiourea. The present procedure gave high accuracy and precision with higher preconcentration factor when compared to other procedures.Concentrations of metal ions as Cu2+, Cd2+ and Pb2+ were higher in children’s with renal diseases than healthy children’s where concentrations of Zn2+ were higher in healthy children’s than children’s with renal diseases. Also the levels of antioxidants enzymes as Catalase, Malondialdhyde and Glutathione reduced were higher in children’s with renal diseases than healthy children’s. Significant negative correlation occurred between CAT levels and Zn ions concentrations in neuropathic bladder children’s. Significant positive correlation between GSH levels and Cu ions concentrations in posterior urethral valve children’s.
