Abstract 90 broiler chick divided into 6 groups each of 15 chick G1 non infected non treated ,G2 infected non treated ,G3 non infected treated by florfenicol and G4 non infected treated with thymol G5 infected treated by florfenicol and G6 infected treated with thymol G2 infected with Salmonella typhimerium & endrtitis G3 treated with florfenicol at dose 20mg/kg bwt once daily in drinking water for 3 days, G4, treated by thymol at dose 0.5-1ml /litre of drinking water G5 infected with Salmonella typhimerium & endrtitis and treated with florfenicol at dose 20mg/kg bwt once daily in drinking water for 3 days and G6 infected w ith Salmonella typhimerium & endrtitis and treated by thymol at dose 0.5-1ml /litre of drinking water (2), blood and tissue samples collected for hematological, biochemical serological and molecular. µbiological assessment The present study concluded that the using of thymol and forfenicol in treatment of salmonellosis in broiler chickens have highly significant effect on hematological and biochemical parameters, microbioogical, serological and molecular. |
