Abstract This research aims to apply packing density theory on high strength self-compacting concrete. Mixes were selected based on total cementitious materials 600 kg/m3 that replaced with different percentages of different supplementary cementitious materials as silica-fume, fly ash and marble powder, and different sizes of aggregate to apply in the packing density model. The packing density theory, which used to predict the compressive strength and workability when reducing the water content in the mixture as possible. The results showed that improvement of the packing of concrete, and the compressive strength up to a 70 MPa after 28 days can be obtained. |
