Abstract

Egypt is one of the Arab countries which shows interest and pay great attention to inclusive education as Egyptian Ministry of Education(MOE) exerts many efforts for applying inclusive education in all Egyptian schools since 2002 with cooperation with the World Bank and UNESCO, gradually from integration to partial inclusion to full inclusion to be one of the leading countries in the area in the field of inclusive education So,` inclusion appears in Egypt as an approach of redesigning the mainstream schools by developing its classrooms, modification to academic curriculum, programs and activities in order to be ready to suit students with special needs as well as student without special needs to make all students learn and participate together Teachers’ role in inclusive classrooms is vital as they are the first line in interaction with all students. So, their perception and practices toward inclusion can’t be neglected as they are the most important factors for successful inclusive education.
