Abstract Managing time is an important issue for both individuals and organizations. The core of time management is not to control time by itself, but to control the ways people use the time to improve their lives. The Aim of this study was to explore the effect of a time management program on nurses Performance and Job Satisfaction.to Assess staff nurse’s knowledge about time management of their work situations Materials and Methods: Time Management Knowledge Questionnaire: It was used to assess the knowledge of nurses’ about time management in their work., Job Satisfaction Questionnaire: this tool developed by Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire, To evaluate effect time management program on job satisfaction.and Nursing Performance observational checklist, To evaluate effect time management program on nursing performance. The Subjects of this study All available staff nurses work in medical and surgical unit during carried out the program (NO, 51 nurses) in Beni Suef university Hospital.the Results: There Was Highly statistically significant difference of elements of time management knowledge during stage of testing in all elements, there was a higll.\y statistically significant difference between stage of study in most items of job satisfaction. There was a highly statistical significant difference on all elements of time management programs effective on nursing performance .Conclusion: Improve of staff nursing Time management knowledge lead to improve of job satisfies and nursing performance in beni suef university hospital.Recommendations:Enhance knowledge about the importance of time management and how to deal with time waster for Nursing in beni suef university hospital, Work more studies about time management in nursing in beni suefuniversity hospital, Review policy of the hospital and change some policy to decrease waster time, Support delegation system in hospitals and learning staff nurses how to delegate. |
