Abstract
El-Fayoum province is an elongated to semi-circular depression in a limestone plateau at the north-eastern part of the Western Desert, Situated 70Km.South-South West of Cairo and 15 Km. north west of Beni Suef. Locates between latitudes 28º50’ and 29º50’ North, and longitudes 30º 00’ and 31º15’ East (Figure 1). The first study area, Qasr El Sagha (QS) lies between latitudes 29º35’42’’ North, and longitudes 30º 40’ 39.3’’ East, and the second study area, North Qasr El Sagha (NQS) lies between latitudes 29º36’39.4’’ North, and longitudes 30º 42’ 11.4’’East (Figure 2).
