Abstract A 4-month feeding trial was conducted to investigate the effect of both surface area of periphyton substrates (PS) and stocking density (SD) of monosex Nile Tilapia, Oreochromis niloticus, fry on survival, growth performance, feed utilization, major nutrients composition, health status and yield. Six treatments (T1 to T6) were established in net-enclosures in one of the freshwater earthen ponds of the Experimental Fish Farm at El-Max, NIOF, Alexandria, for growing Nile tilapia. |
