Abstract Salma gas Field is considered one of the most important gas fields in the Nile Delta; it lies in the West El Qantara Concession and cames onstream in 2013 and is produced through the El Wastani integrated gas plant. This study’s main target is to: • Define the structural features spreading along the study area. • Follow up and investigate the most important petrophysical parameters affecting the qualifications of the Abu Madi reservoir, which is lithologically heterogeneous and contains relatively interbedded sequences of sandstone and shale. • Supply a general idea about the dominant environment at the time of Abu Madi Formation deposition using the available formation micro imager (FMI, diameter logs, and core data). |
