Abstract Nanomaterials including pristine lanthanide oxide (CeO₂) and metal oxides (SnO₂) in powder and thin films forms were synthesized using hydrothermal and dip coating techniques have drawn significant interest due to their industrial importance, better workability and promising in diverse applications. Composites of lanthanide oxide (CeO₂), and metal oxides (SnO₂) together and along with of NiFe₂O4 in various concentrations series were synthesized using the hydrothermal technique. The synthesized samples were characterized using all the needed techniques such as XRD, XPS, HRTEM, FESEM, AFM, UVVis, and VSM. The results suggest that the CeO₂/SnO₂, CeO₂/NiFe₂O₄, and SnO₂/NiFe₂O₄ nanocomposites are prospective substances for photocatalysis and optoelectronic applications |
