Abstract
The present thesis is devoted to develop some analytical methods for determination of some drugs that used for treatment the complications of diabetic and rheumatic diseases namely; linagliptin, empagliflozin, pioglitazone HCl, alogliptin benzoate, glimepride, vildagliptin and bumadizone calcium hemihydrate either alone or in combination. The objective of the present work is to develop smart, simple, accurate and economic methods for evaluation of such drugs, in pure forms as well as in their pharmaceutical dosage forms or biological fluids,The thesis comprises five partsThis part includes: General background about diabetes and rheumatic disease Physiochemical properties of the studied drugs as well as their pharmacological action and uses were discussed. A brief review of the different methods reported in the literature for the determination of the drugs under study in pure form, pharmaceutical formulations and biological fluids.
