Abstract Animals have played a great role in the life of ancient Egyptians therefore, the art is full of images of animals, which indicate that the Egyptians enjoyed a rich relationship with the animal kingdom. Also, Egyptians delighted in portraying animals in their vibrant, skillful art with exceptional anatomical and zoological accuracy. Animals’ feelings were depicted obviously on the tomb wall scenes including maternal affection, joy, love, pain, fear, rage, sorrow, and representations that revealed the human-animal relationship. All these emotions were recognized in scenes by identifying animals’ body language. Additionally, the study was depended on the recent animals’ studies, the ancient Egyptian language, and literature to explore animal emotions. Therefore, I followed the descriptive-analytical methodology. This study is divided into nine chapters, results, and discussion then the conclusion. |
