المستخلص The study aimed to verify the effectiveness of a training program based on Montessori activities to improve attention among low achievers primary school students, depending on the experimental method. The study sample consisted of(10)primary stage students who were low achievers, with ages ranging between(10-12)years. The ”Raven” colored progressive matrices test was used for children and adults (5.5-68.4 years old)(modified and standardized by Prof. Emad Ahmed Hassan Ali).The study also used the academic retardation scale (by the researcher), and the attention scale(by the researcher)in addition to the training program based on Montessori activities(by the researcher).The results indicated that there were statistically significant differences between the average grades of students in the pre and post measurements of the attention scale among low achievers primary school students in favor of the post measurement. The study also reached the absence of statistically significant differences between the mean scores of students in the two post and follow-up measurements of the attention scale among low achievers primary school peoples.Key words: low achievers, attention, Montessori activities, training program. |
