Abstract The present study was carried out, in two experiments, during the two successive seasons (2018/2019 and 2019/2020) on 20-year-old Washington Navel orange (Citrus sinensis L. Osbeck), trees budded on sour orange (Citrus aurantium L.) rootstock. The first experiment; improve yield, quality and storability of Washington Navel orange fruits by using foliar application of some natural extracts and aminoethoxy vinyl glycine. While, the second experiment, was dipping non treated fruits with the same treatments to study their storability. Trees were grown in sandy soil, in a private orchard at El-Nubaria region, EL-Behira governorate, Egypt. A Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with one factor (treatments) were used for the first experiment which represented by (leaf mineral content, fruit drop, yield and number of fruits). While, factorial in RCBD with two factors (treatments and storage periods) were used for fruit quality parameters during storage time for the first and second experiment in both seasons. |
